The OXO Reel
“The OXO Reel” is a fun and energetic folk dance where sets of partners create Os and Xs down a longways set. This dance can be found in the book Sashay The Donut by The New England Dancing Masters, and the song “Big Red/Dairy Reel” from the NEDM album Other Side of the Tracks can be used for accompaniment. The video below features students from Boone Meadow Elementary, led by their teacher William C Doublestein, during the 2023-2024 school year.
