[Verse 1]
Welcome friends, We’re so glad that you are here
Fourth grade's been a blast, And now the end is near
Tonight we celebrate, how much we've grown
Sit back, relax, enjoy the show, please silence your cell phones

[Chorus]
This is our fourth grade finale, One big bright last hooray
Singing songs and dancing together, Instruments we soon will play
This is our fourth grade finale, Hear our voices loud and free
Our biggest performance yet, so legendary

[Verse 2]
Music has a steady beat, and melodies to share
Rhythms, pitches, harmonies, all floating through the air
All we've learned in a finale so grand
Comes together a part of the plan

[Chorus]
This is our fourth grade finale, One big bright last hooray
Singing songs and dancing together, Instruments we soon will play
This is our fourth grade finale, Hear our voices loud and free
Our biggest performance yet, so legendary

[Bridge]
We’re heading off to middle school
A brand new path to take
With bigger halls and bigger dreams
And choices we will make
It’s kind of scary
Kind of exciting
But we'll take it all in stride
So come along, as we sing our song
On this last program night!

[Chorus]
This is our fourth grade finale, One big bright last hooray
Singing songs and dancing together, Instruments we soon will play
This is our fourth grade finale, Hear our voices loud and free
Our biggest performance yet, so legendary

We’re Trending Through Fourth Grade

Full Vocals
Soft Vocals
[Verse 1]
The year started fine all was nice and neat
Now there’s Taba squishies under every seat
Stanley cups clanking, it’s quite the vibe
Crocs with more charms than I care to describe

Instead of saying cool we said “that’s so fire”
“No cap”- it’s true- these new words we’ve acquired
Mom and Dad are askin' is something wrong with us?
Their concern we understand the whole thing's a bit sus

[Chorus]
We’re trendin' through fourth grade, Laughin’ every day
A.I. tools and 3D prints that slay
Minecraft, Roblox, bracelets for my friends
The year 2026, it's the year for all the trends

[Verse 2]
We tried all the TikTok dances in the hallway line
"P.O.V. it’s time for math," dramatic every time
Capybara memes somehow live in our minds
Why they're funny? We still can’t define

We made up jokes that only we could get
"P.O.V. you’re late to lunch," the funniest yet
From trending moves to memes on repeat
Fourth grade energy just can’t be beat

[Bridge]
We know this stuff is silly and it might feel like a curse
But I can think of 6 or 7 things that clearly would be worse…

[Chorus]
We’re trendin' through fourth grade, Laughin’ every day
A.I. tools and 3D prints that slay
Minecraft, Roblox, bracelets for my friends
The year 2026, it's the year for all the trends

[Chorus]
We’re trendin' through fourth grade, Laughin’ every day
A.I. tools and 3D prints that slay
Minecraft, Roblox, bracelets for my friends
The year 2026, it's the year for all the trends

[Verse 1]
We’re the kings and the queens of fourth grade today
Biggest kids in the school—but that’s about to change
We’ve had our moment, we’ve passed every test
But soon we’ll be the little kids at Z West

New big building, lockers in rows
How the combo works? nobody knows
Seven different classes? That sounds like a quest
Hope we don’t get lost at Z West

[Chorus]
BME, we’ll keep you in our memory
We’ve done our part with our great heart
Zionsville West, we’ll do our best
To do what’s right with all our might

[Verse 2]
Homeroom first, then off down the hall
Math and science—we’ll try to recall
Humanities, history, taking lots of tests
Big new adventures at Z West

P.E., stem art and health class too
Doing our best in all that we do
Band, choir, orchestra—we’ll find our sound
At Z West, new adventures abound

[Chorus]
BME, we’ll keep you in our memory
We’ve done our part with our great heart
Zionsville West, we’ll do our best
To do what’s right with all our might

[Verse 3]
How ’bout sports and after school activities
Staying late when the final bell rings
Practice, concerts, games, and the rest
Busy, busy at Z West

Some days will be great while others may not
The friends that we have will not be forgot
As we move on we'll grow up together
Doing our best to stay friends forever

[Bridge]
Some kids chase “cool” and change who they are
Switching their look just to fit in from afar
But we learned the secret back in our class
Be kind and real, that’s the thing that will last

Do what’s right even when no one’s around
Stand tall and proud on your own solid ground
No need to fake it or follow the crowd
Bring your true self, shout it out loud

[Chorus]
BME, we’ll keep you in our memory
We’ve done our part with our great heart
Zionsville West, we’ll do our best
To do what’s right with all our might

Drum Improvisation (Casselman)

Music For Children Vol 1 Pg 111 #31 (McGuire)

NOTE: Students need to follow the updated instrument chart. There are some changes since we practiced in class. We really shouldn’t take any more time to discuss instrument assignments due to time, and I really think the spots listed will help the group be most successful.

This group really wants to do the B section, and about 8 of them were even willing to give up most of their recess to practice it. Still, they could probably use a bit more time to really lock it in. To simplify the B section, we removed box 2 and replaced it with a repeat of box 4. This class never got to play the whole piece with blue and green together. However, I do think they could learn it quickly, perhaps even during our dress rehearsal. Need to state that final form is ABA.

Intro]
We've had such fun in Mr. Doublestein's class,
Singing, playing, making music that lasts.
We've learned our rhythms and made A Eye songs,
Together we've been dancing all along.

But now a big adventure calls our name,
Middle school is coming, a new kind of fame
At Z West, adventure's in sight,
Choir, band, or orchestra—let's shine so bright!

[Chorus]
We're ready, we're ready, can't wait to start,
The path we choose we'll play with all our heart!
One big family, we'll play and sing,
Middle school's next, let the music ring!

[Verse 1]
In choir we'll lift our voices high,
Harmonies blending, reaching the sky.
We'll sing the melodies, proud and strong,
Together our song will carry along.

No instruments needed, just you and me,
Our voices unite in sweet harmony.
Express our feelings, wild or sweet,
Choir's the place where our song will meet!

[Chorus]
We're ready, we're ready, can't wait to start,
The path we choose we'll play with all our heart!
One big family, we'll play and sing,
Middle school's next, let the music ring!

[Verse 2]
In band we'll play with power and fun,
Flutes and oboes, clarinets drums.
Saxophones groovy, trumpets so bold,
French horns and trombones, euphonium gold.

Percussion booming, keeping the beat,
Xylophone tambourine, bringing the heat.
Woodwinds, brass, percussion as one,
Playing in the band will be so much fun!

[Chorus]
We're ready, we're ready, can't wait to start,
The path we choose we'll play with all our heart!
One big family, we'll play and sing,
Middle school's next, let the music ring!

[Verse 3]
In orchestra we'll play with grace,
Violins and music stands, all in their place.
Veola warm, cello so deep,
Basses rumbling, the foundation they keep.

Blending together, notes in the air,
Making magic everywhere.
We'll play together, quiet then bold,
Orchestra stories will be told!

[Bridge]
Now raise your hand if you'll sing in choir!
Raise your hand if you'll play in the band!
Raise your hand for the orchestra!
Any we choose will be so much fun!

[Chorus]
We're ready, we're ready, can't wait to start,
The path we choose we'll play with all our heart!
One big family, we'll play and sing,
Middle school's next, let the music ring!

[Chorus]
We're ready, we're ready, can't wait to start,
The path we choose we'll play with all our heart!
One big family, we'll play and sing,
Middle school's next, let the music ring!

Boone Meadow Family

[Verse 1]
We headed to the bus with our bags packed tight,
Camp Te-cum-suh glowed in the starry night.
Campfires crackled, and laughter rang free,
Fishing and challenges a great memory.

From the moment we arrived 'till fourth grade's sweet end,
Teachers cheer us on with our family and friends.
Mr. Burch, Mrs. Adams, Ms. Welch showed the way,
Mrs. McGuire, Mrs. Casselman- here with us each day!

[Chorus]
Boone Meadow friends, we’ll always remember,
These happy days that we spent together.
From playground laughs to learning so much,
Best friends forever- we're quite a fun bunch!

[Verse 2]
Lunch ladies served us with five-star delight,
Helping us all with smiles so bright.
Best food in the land, enough for us all,
They filled up our stomachs and answered the call.

Related arts classes brought joy every day,
Art splashed with color in every bright way.
Music and wellness, library, and STEM
We learned and created—we give them a ten!

(Chorus)
Boone Meadow friends, we’ll always remember,
These happy days we spent together.
From playground laughs to learning so much,
Best friends forever- we're quite a fun bunch!

[Verse 3]
Fractions and graphs took us on a wild ride,
Mystery Science quests opened worlds far and wide!
Coding adventures, we built and we tried,
Student Council led with hearts full of pride.
Ambassadors exemplified with kindness each day,
Robotics buzzed as we worked in our way.
Boone Meadow Voices, music programs, chess
Zeek Squad, Jog-a-thon, tennis and the rest

[Bridge]
As we look back on the time we spent right here
Our hearts overflow with pride and bright cheer
But part of it's still hard as we come to something new
Still we know that we are ready, together we'll be true

We tried our best to play a part
Of making this place special and full of heart
Once a part of Boone Meadow's family
We'll always be part of this legacy

(Chorus)
Boone Meadow friends, we’ll always remember,
These happy days we spent together.
From playground laughs to learning so much,
Best friends forever- we're quite a fun bunch!

(Chorus)
Boone Meadow friends, we’ll always remember,
These happy days we spent together.
From playground laughs to learning so much,
Best friends forever- we're quite a fun bunch!
