2026 Kindy Sing

Update To Teachers 4/9/26 5:30pm

“When I’m Big In 2038” has been finalized. It now has repeating choruses and less words to make it easier for the kids to remember. Thanks!

We Love Boone Meadow

Boone Meadow Elementary
This school is where we start
Every day we are all growing
In our brains and in our hearts

Each morning a new adventure
Walking down these friendly halls
Greeting those who came to help us
A great job they do for all!

Wave to Mrs. Luse now
Mrs. Sorrells too
Mrs. Fry and Mrs. Coats
We learn so much from you

We love Boone Meadow
Sing it out strong
Friendships growing
Learning all day long
Hearts together
Always being kind
Boone Meadow
Boone Meadow
This is where we shine

Officer Tom is waving
Keeping us all safe
Nurse Amy has the band-aids
And a caring face

Mr. Hundley’s cheering
Mr. Gatlin too
Mrs. Sloan is listening
Helping me and you

We love Boone Meadow
Sing it out strong
Friendships growing
Learning all day long
Hearts together
Always being kind

Mrs. Lorena’s smiling
Keeping our school clean
Mrs. T in BAC
Brings joy to our team

Music with Mr. Doublestein
We clap and sing along
Mr. Stephens keeps us moving
Healthy, brave and strong

Paint with Mrs. Mathis
Colors everywhere
Books with Mrs. Wickard
Stories that we share

Mrs. Sturzenberger
Reads and helps us grow
Every day gets better

Thank You Families

In our teacher's classroom
We learn, we laugh, we play
But when the school day is over
We come home to you hurray!

Thank you families we love you so
For all you do to help us grow
To moms and dads who care so much
We say “thank you"
"Thank you” for being you

Some families have brothers
Some have sisters too
Some have awesome grandparents
Some have babies that are so cute!

Best Friends Forever

We’re best friends now
Going down big slides
Sharing crayons
Making jokes in line
When we’re old and wrinkly
In rocking chairs
We’ll still be giggling
’Bout our gray gray hair

Best friends forever
Old and spunky too
Shaking canes together
At what young kids do
“Get off my lawn
You whipper snappers!”
We’ll laugh so hard
Have a saltine cracker

We’ll wear slippers
Until three p.m
Fall asleep
In our chairs again
Big bright sweaters
Smell like moth balls
Just hangin' together
Knitting scarves for fall

Best friends forever
Old and spunky too
Shaking canes together
At what young kids do
“Get off my lawn
You whipper snappers!”
We’ll laugh so hard
Have a saltine cracker

We’ll have hearing aids
Turned up high
But I still can't really hear ya
We’ll tell long stories
'Bout the good old days
When we were kids singin' up on stage

Best friends forever
Old and spunky too
Shaking canes together
At what young kids do
“Get off my lawn
You whipper snappers!”
We’ll laugh so hard
Have a saltine cracker

When I’m Big In 2038

I’m just a kid but getting older
One day I'll graduate
It seems far but I'm on my way
The future won't hesitate

Will my friends still like big dinosaurs?
Will I ever want broccoli?
If I’m President for one day
Could I make ice cream be free?

When I’m big in 2038
Will my yoyo tricks be really great?
Will a robot clean my room?
Will we vacation on the moon?

When I’m big in 2038
Will I get to stay up really late?
Will I still sing nice and loud?
Will I make my parents super proud?

Will school be inside my glasses?
Will I just blink to raise my hand?
Will I have to pay my taxes?
Will I play in a garage band?

Will cars do all their own driving?
Will shoe laces tie themselves?
Will I still lose all my pencils?
Will the trash take out itself?

When I’m big in 2038
Will my yoyo tricks be really great?
Will a robot clean my room?
Will we vacation on the moon?

When I’m big in 2038
Will I get to stay up really late?
Will I still sing nice and loud?
Will I make my parents super proud?

Maybe I’ll have my own butler
Maybe cars will levitate
Maybe pizza will grow on trees
Maybe I'll go on a date...
NOPE!!!

When I’m big in 2038
Will I want to buy some real estate?
What new inventions will I make?
What treats might I bake?

When I’m big in 2038
I'm sure it'll all turn out just great
But today I'm still six years old
The future will come- let's put it on hold
