2023 Orff Schulwerk Music Program (Fourth Grade)

Boone Meadow’s “Fourth Grade Music Celebration” was performed on April 25th, 2023 and is an example of a music program based on the Orff Schulwerk philosophy of music education. Students sang songs, danced folk dances, played recorders, and played mallet instrument pieces from Carl Orff and Gunild Keetman’s books “Music For Children” and “Spielbuch Fur Xylophon.” This program was directed by William C Doublestein.
