Welcome
Class Dashboard is a free classroom display built for teachers who see several classes each week. Put it on the screen at the front of your room and it automatically shows whichever class is with you right now — attendance, notes, reminders, timers, seating charts, and more — switching classes right along with your schedule.
Class Dashboard has been developed, maintained, and shared freely by elementary school music teacher William C. Doublestein. If this tool has helped you in your classroom, please consider supporting the project by sending a tip using the button below.
Open the Student Info tab on the left and add each class's students, or import a roster.
That's it — the dashboard will switch to each class automatically.
Browsing Classes
Use ◀ Previous and Next ▶ to look at other classes. Tap Now to jump back to the class happening now. Tap 🔍 in the top corner to find any student and jump to their class.
Top Tools
The buttons across the top change what's shown in the middle. Tap ▾ on any of them for its settings and a quick explanation. Press and hold any top button or side tab, then drag, to change the order.
Taking Attendance
When class starts, a pop-up asks who's absent. Check anyone who's out and tap Submit. No class today? Check Class isn't meeting today and add a reason.
Tools
Oscilloscope, Randomizer, Tuner, Metronome, Stopwatch, Timer, and Alarm, all under one button. Tap ▾ on Tools to turn any off or change their order.
Milestones
A running list of what each class has done. Add one to just this class, the whole grade, or every class.
Media
Save YouTube videos, Google Slides, and more, and play them right on the dashboard. Tap + to add a link.
Calendar View
Show a Google or Outlook calendar by pasting its embed link into Calendar View's settings (▾). In Google Calendar, find it under Integrate calendar → Embed code. In Outlook, use Publish a calendar → HTML link. Using iCloud? Import it into Google Calendar first. The calendar has to be public, so I'd use a separate one just for school — not your personal calendar.
Side Tools
The tabs on the left edge slide out student info, accommodations, notes, birthdays, and absences. Each one explains itself when you open it.
Bottom Panels
Things to Remember is for quick notes — Move To Notes saves them and clears the box. Automatic Reminders shows recent absences and birthdays. Daily Report lets you rate each class once you turn it on in the Daily Report tool (▾).
Settings
Pick a display color and theme, choose which tools show up, turn pop-ups on or off, and back up your data. Out sick? Tap Sub Plans for a printable page with the day's schedule, rosters, seating charts, and accommodations.

Privacy Policy
All of your class and student information stays right here in this browser, on this device. None of it is ever uploaded, transmitted, or stored anywhere else — there's no account to create, no cloud, and no way for anyone, including us, to ever see it. The only thing this page sends is an anonymous usage count — a random ID for this browser, not linked to you — so we can see how many teachers use it. Suggestions you choose to send (and any name, school, or email you add to one) go to the developer. If you enter your Buy Me a Coffee email to turn off tip requests, it's checked against the supporter list and saved only in this browser.
All of your class and student information stays right here in this browser, on this device — with one exception: since you're signed in, it also syncs to your own private account so it's available on your other signed-in devices. It's never visible to anyone else, including other teachers or us — each account only ever sees its own data.

Welcome to Class Dashboard!
Class Dashboard is free to use, with no account or subscription required, built especially for teachers who regularly see multiple classes each week. It was designed and continues to be maintained by William C Doublestein, elementary school music teacher and creator of Bow Tie Music. So far, 100+ hours of development has gone into it since August 2026, with many more improvements yet to come. Please enjoy and share!
Add Class Dashboard to your Home Screen. It opens full screen, and Safari can't clear your classes.
In Safari, tap Share (or ⋯, then Share), then Add to Home Screen. Then open the dashboard from the new icon.
